The Company

BECK Developments is a commercial developer in Edmonton, comprised of experienced and complementarily skilled professionals.

The Challenge

One of the many challenges in the construction industry is the sharing and distribution of time-critical information, including photos, drawings and project specs.  BECK identified a challenge in communicating with trades and vendors in a timely fashion using the traditional methods of email, CD/DVD, and FTP.  Sharing files via email had it's file-size restrictions, CD/DVD burning and delivery was too time-consuming, and FTP only did the trick when a computer-savvy user was on the receiving end.

The Solution

CreoLogic and BECK worked together to create a web-based File Transfer utility, where we eliminated the challenges and barriers preventing BECK and it's customers from sharing information more efficiently.

The Result

This online File Transfer utility contains features that make file sharing between BECK and their customers a breeze.  Special consideration was given to navigation, user-friendliness and ease-of-access, ensuring the ability for BECK and it's customers/vendors to share files and project information quicker than ever.  Some features include:

• Online archiving of project files, documents, and photos
• Ability for BECK to upload files (XLS, PDF, PPT, photos and videos) for vendors/clients
